Park Corner Brasserie’s tropical dining adventure is fit for a princess

We sail off on a tropical island adventure at London Hilton Park Lane, for a magical new Moana-inspired Afternoon Tea, made in collaboration with Disney.
Ahead of the release of the live-action film on 10 July, Park Corner Brasserie has created a whimsical family dining experience, brimming with tropical colours, flavours and inventive storytelling.
The 5 star hotel's luxurious, emerald and gold brasserie is studded with life-sized Disney princess figures, from Moana and Cinderella to Belle, as we take our seats.

A tropical treasure chest is brought to the table and theatrically opened, to reveal shelves laden with jewel-like desserts. Golden shell and starfish handles open drawers filled with wayfinder canoes, studded with coconut or plain scones, with bowls of clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The children are thrilled with the adventure, opening secret drawers and plucking out treats almost too pretty to eat.
Heart of Te Fiti brings together matcha biscuit, cream cheese and white chocolate, while Taste of the Sea is bright with passion fruit, pineapple compote and lime zest.

Island Flowers layers vanilla mousse with strawberry and hibiscus compote on shortbread, and our personal favourite, Drop in the Ocean, is topped with edible gold leaf, with edible blue chocolate splash and filled with coconut mousse, wiith a crunchy, chocolate centre
Other iconic Disney princesses are celebrated in the experience, like the glass slipper which is brought to the table on a velvet, blue cushion, and filled with delicious truffles.
The savouries continue the Disney magic, like Gus the mouse, a cartoonish cheese wedge which, when sliced, reveals itself to be a cheesecake-esque delight, with sweet onion marmalade.

We gleefully work our way through The Carriage Awaits - a chicken sandwich with pumpkin and sage mousse; From The Bayou, a dreamy roast beef sandwich inspired by Prince Naseem’s lily pad perch, and our personal favourite, the Ma Cherie - a smoked salmon sandwich, crowned with vibrant roe balls.
The children's savouries have safer, kid-pleasing fillings, shaped like moments from iconic Disney movies.
It’s an afternoon tea fit for a Disney princess. And we trumped Cinderella, with a selection of chocolate treats in our glass slipper.
