We Test the LED Face Mask Making Headlines for Reducing Head Lines

Your social feed is clogged with reels of neon, Michael Myers-esque LED masks. But one - rejuvenating the mushes of everybody from Bella Hadid to Kim Kardashian - is making the headlines for reducing the head lines.
It’s the Omnilux Contour and we couldn’t wait to get our hands (and faces) on it.
Professional LED Facial treatments cost more than £100 an hour, but the £348 Omnilux promises professional grade results at home within weeks, with just three to five, ten minute sessions a week while watching Netflix in your comfies.

It has astonishing, clinically proven anti-ageing and skin rejuvenating results, across 20 years of research, and is FDA approved and dermatologist recommended.
In fact, the brand started life making medical devices for dermatologists, before putting the power in our hands, with at-home masks.
As advised, I remove all make up and products beforehand. And I find the lightweight, soft and flexible silicone design comfortable to wear, with the adjustable, velcro straps.

Handily, the rechargeable, cordless design means I can potter about the house, work and frighten the odd child, while reducing my fine lines.
It has a simple button to press, to unleash the 132 medical-grade red and near-infrared LEDS, which turn off after ten, soothing minutes.
The red penetrates the deeper layers of skin to combat signs of aging, while the infrared wavelength targets the deepest cells, to speed up skin healing and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

It’s non-invasive, pain-free, with no down time. The two wavelengths stimulate ATP (adenosine triphosphate), to help cells regenerate, heal sun damage, and work more efficiently, while boosting collagen production.
With just a few 10 minute sessions a week and a cordless design, it’s easy to slot it into my routine, so I use it religiously and notice significant differences within just three weeks. My skin looks plumper and more dewy.
Within five weeks, the jolly smile lines around my eyes and mouth are visibly reduced, and my skin is noticeably firmer - thanks to its inflammation-reducing properties.

And over the following weeks, I achieve the sort of glow and even skin tone I normally only achieve during Dry January, while drinking gallons of water.
Four weeks is a realistic timeframe to start noticing results. It’s an incremental improvement over eight to 12 weeks, and when you document your skin as I did, you will be amazed by the results.
It is a skincare game changer and I will happily be terrifying small children and animals with it for the foreseeable.
