DAY OF THE DACHSHUND CELEBRATES GERMANY’S BEST SAUSAGE EXPORT
London’s Biggest Oktoberfest Event Throws Sausage Party this Weekend
Pergola Paddington will be marking Oktoberfest by celebrating Germany’s best sausage export - and we’re not talking about bratwurst.
This Sunday 22 October, the largest al fresco bar in West London is inviting people to bring their wiener hounds to the Day of the Dachshund event, to meet other sausage dogs and their fans and enjoy Germany’s most loved creations - beer, Bavarian food and Dachshunds.
They will be running a best dressed owner and dog competition at the event, which transforms Pergola Paddington into Wunderbar Oktoberfest, its month-long Bavarian bonanza, featuring long biergarten tables, lederhosen, sloshing steins, live Oom-Pah bands, DJs and flower-festooned barrels.
It's the third instalment of the popular doxie dog event at London’s biggest Oktoberfest party.
Wunderbar is the only place in the world to serve Wunderbeer, a special Oktoberfest brew and a menu of unique Oktoberfest cocktails. And its rolling roster of Bavarian food traders will be serving up treats including a range of Wurst, hearty knodel, cheese fondue and flammkuchen from the mountains of Germany.
It's a Ja from us.
Pergola Paddington, Day of the Dachshund, 5 Kingdom St, London W2 6PY. 22 October. 12pm onwards. Dogs go free. Over 18s only.
