Make a splash with your personal water park, this summer

We have discovered the saviour of the summer holidays, which transforms the garden into an enormous water park in less than two minutes.

Jobs and failing to win the lottery, mean we can’t whisk the kids off on a poolside holiday for the entire - increasingly hot -summer.

But thanks to Bestway’s inflatable water park, we don't need to, because we have our own play pool, water slide, crawl tunnel, climbing wall, bounce tower, water bucket drop and sprinklers, which have kept our children entertained every single day.

Luckily for our over-excited children, they don’t have to wait long to dive in. We simply spread it out on the grass, attach the water hose and the included heavy duty blower.

It’s extraordinary to see the blue, yellow, pink and orange carpet transform into a gargantuan, towering water park in less than two minutes.

It has, without doubt, been their most played with toy in years, surpassing the Switch and taking them away from screens, and outside to splash and squeal, making up endless games.

The tower becomes their secret den, and they play tag around it, hiding in the tunnel and clambering up the climbing wall. And the water slide is an endless source of joy.

So much thought and care has gone into the safety and fun. The inflatable water bucket is filled by sprinklers which snake around the park, emptying on its own when full, as if powered by a motor.

They also love the sprinklers on the floor and tunnel entrance to splash through.

Parents will be pleased to note the safety handles on the slide and climbing wall, as well as the mesh walls around the tower, and the pegs to keep it secured.

When we’re done, we simply pull the plug to drain the water and switch the blower off, and in minutes, it’s flat and ready to be folded away into the included storage bag. No more worries about pesky foxes taking a dip during the night, or manually inflating it again the following day.

We’ve also been super impressed by how robust it is. It’s not the usual, flimsy PVC, which becomes a hissing patchwork of puncture repair squares. This bad-boy is made from colourful, PVC-coated Polyester, double stitched for increased strength.

As much as I’d love a go on the slide, it’s designed for 5-10 year olds, and I’m happy to splash around the bottom, and watch them have the summer of their lives.

So if you’re looking for an alternative to spenny holidays, childcare or summer clubs, this is an ingenious and brilliant value way to splash the cash.
