The Coral Room's High Fashion, Pre-Theatre Experience is Worthy of Miranda Priestly. That's All

There is no more perfect setting for a Devil Wears Prada cocktail experience than the fiery-toned drama of London's most fashionable bar, The Coral Room.

Following the success of their Devil Wears Prada afternoon tea, the glamorous Bloomsbury bar has launched the limited edition drink and snack menus, around the corner from the hit Dominion Theatre musical.

Channeling our inner Miranda Priestly, we settle among the Murano glass chandeliers and coral walls for a runway of stunning cocktails and small plates.

The star of the show is the Runway Royale, a devilish mix of Mijenta Tequila Reposado, Galliano Vanilla Liqueur, and Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve.

Other hits include the Cerulean: Silent Pool Gin, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, and Butterfly Pea Tea - as sweet and vibrant as Andy in her iconic jumper

We complete the trio with The Miranda Club: topped with the famous shoe, this Altamura Vodka, Hedgerow Berry and Rose Shrub, and Cocchi Vermouth mix encapsulates Miranda's sophisticated and bold personality.

These are accompanied by the ultimate girl-dinner of luxury snack plates - and not a cube of cheese in sight.

We eat garlic prawns; Nate's perfect grilled cheese - with a runway-long cheese pull - red carpet hummus; silky, chimichurri steak skewers, padron peppers and pan con tomate.

It's a two-minute strut from our table to our seat for the musical adaptation of the iconic movie, with a suitably extra, Sir Elton John score.

There are stellar performances from Vanessa Williams as the formidable Runway editor; Stevie Doc as her junior assistant, Andy; and Taila Halford as Miranda's deliciously comedic and cutting, first assistant, Emily.

The staging is cover-star-fabulous, including a dazzling, fashionista-festooned staircase for Runway's Met Gala-esque ball; the twinkling Eiffel Tower for the Paris Fashion Week scenes and Andy's humble and homely New York apartment.

Visually gorgeous, with powerhouse singing, explosive choreography and bangers like How to Survive at Runway, it's a must for fans of the film series and book.

The musical and cocktail experience are the ultimate high fashion and fun pairing, which would even put a smile on Miranda's jaded and discerning chops.

That's all.
