London's Hot New Mexican and Peruvian Fusion Restaurant Offers Delicious Prize to Our Readers

London's hot, new Mexican-Peruvian fusion restaurant, Chayote is offering a meal for two to one lucky Time Well Spent Magazine winner, including a welcome cocktail and bottle of house wine.

Chayote overlooks St Katharine Docks' stunning marina, and offers a blend of Mexican and Peruvian gastronomy with a Spanish twist, cooked by Tomasz Baranski - named by Forbes Magazine as “one of the world’s top chefs”.

Menu highlights include a range of inventive tostadas, tacos and quesadillas, with fresh seafood ceviche - like the sea bass and green mango - and sharing dishes including the Lamb Barbacoa in Adoba and Banana Leaf; Iberico Pork Carnitas, Roast Chayote and Red Mole. The desserts are equally innovative in their celebration of the menu’s roots, with offerings including Spicy Chocolate Doughnuts and Chocolate Habanero Tart.

The winner and guest will also enjoy a bottle of house wine and a welcome cocktail from their cocktail menu, which explores their Mexican, Peruvian and Spanish roots with tequila, Mezcal and Pisco creations.​

Named after Mexico’s edible gourd, Chayote's sophisticated interior reflects the rich, tropical environment of South America, with deep greens, tan browns, moody blacks, natural wood and warm, exposed brickwork. Beautiful statement lighting explodes from the ceilings of the 80-cover restaurant and the luxury velvets and leathers create a relaxed, cosy and refined dining.

Opened in October 2023, the newest restaurant on the marina has already won plaudits for its innovative dining concept - and you could win the chance to try it for yourself.
