Radical cultural landmark to launch bold exhibition in partnership with Annie Lennox feminist organisation, The Circle

Women's role in art history will be reclaimed in Her Stories Untold, Town Hall by Bottaccio's inaugural exhibition, in partnership with The Circle, the global feminist organisation co-founded by Annie Lennox.
Launching on 3 June until 1 September, the exhibition marks the beginning of Town Hall's annual programme dedicated to platforming bold ideas and amplifying underrepresented voices.

The stunning King’s Cross landmark has been boldly reinterpreted by Tom Dixon and continues the historic building’s legacy as a cultural hub for innovation and big ideas, with radical cultural programming and a forthcoming private members’ society.
Curated by Virginia Damtsa, Her Stories Untold explores how women have been portrayed, silenced, celebrated, and reimagined across generations, and features leading voices in contemporary art, from established to emerging.

Spanning photography, painting, sculpture, and embroidery - with some pieces created exclusively for this show - highlights will include works by Abe Odedina, Bonolo Kavula, Carolina Mazzolari, Conrad Shawcross, Jonathan Yeo, Poppy de Havilland, Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf, Richard Wathen and Wen Wu.
It includes Jonathan Yeo's iconic portraits of Malala Yousafzai, Sienna Miller, Lily Cole and Sir Grayson Perry’s alter-ego, Claire, and artworks are priced from £2,000 to £200,000.

Throughout the exhibition's run, Town Hall will host artist talks, studio conversations, panel discussions and dialogues exploring representation, visibility and the evolving role of women in contemporary culture.
Annie Lennox says: "The synergy between activism and creativity lies at the core of my existence. Therefore, I am thrilled that The Circle and Town Hall are joining forces to provide a space where people can find strength and inspiration through art and dialogue."
